Limited Edition Surf Art print called "Wendy" by Sunshine Coast Surf Artist Amanda Davidson. This print is apart of the "Girls Can't Surf" series and like you and me, this lovely surfer has a name and a story.

Wendy……..
"Raised in the powerful, shark-infested surf of East London in South Africa, Wendy first appeared on the World Surfing tour at the 1983: aged 17. While results were a ways off, she became known her strength, powerful snaps and confidence in the surf. Claiming her first world title in 1987, Wendy went on to win four titles. For her career, her 24 event wins were more than any other woman.".

The “Girls Can't Surf” series is inspired by the hero's of the past who paved the way for women's surfing today. Without them and their determination we would not have the equality we have today. The original paintings are created from a combination of acrylic paint, spray-paint, old surf magazines, paint pens, ink and resin.
